Warthog Rest Lodge [self-catering] is situated 40 min. travel outside the Orpen Gate of Kruger Park.This unit is situated in the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate and a few minutes from the convenience of the tourist town of Hoedspruit, offering a wide selection of well-stocked shops, banks, restaurants, internet shop and much more. Use the lodge as a base to explore the MANY tourist attractions. Our guesthouse-keeper is Dudu, a lovely English lady with lots of guestehouse experience. Her services are incl. in rate. She will see to your needs with cleaning of the unit, washing of dishes, braai-pit cleaning. Her hours are from 08:30 - not later than 14:00 [she does not live on the property]. The lodge is self-catering, fully equipped with quality cutlery, crockery, linen and towels, as well as fridge/freezer, separate bar/wine fridge, ice-making machine, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, toaster, kettle and dishwasher provided as well as full satellite [DSTV] services. You will find an open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen with a guest toilet and store room. A large patio, perfect for wild- and bird life viewing or stargazing, a fire pit [BBQ] with bush sounds throughout the day and night complete the picture. Hoedspruit has been declared a malaria area [in our summer months]. The unit contains four bedrooms en-suite with quality interior, beds, linen, towels, bedding and block-out curtains. The bedrooms consist of two double beds and two twin-beds. Each room is fitted with electronic insect repellent devices and an additional vanity basin with shaver plug. All rooms are fitted with air conditioners. All rooms overlook the splash pool, bush and lapa [fire-pit] area.
