At Mackers we offer 3 well-appointed, self-catering Cottages high above the forests and 10 AfriCamps luxury boutique glamping tents on the banks of the Sabie River. These two facilities are run independently and separately. 

Our cottages overlook the Sabie valley – ideal for quiet getaways with a partner or family groups – you can have the place to yourselves.  We welcome kids! However, no swimming pool facilities at the cottages. The hiking/walking trail is an easy 800 m walk down the farm road or a more adventurous mountain side trail 400m to the river.

Nestled on the banks of the Sabie River at the foot of the farm, are 10 AfriCamps boutique glamping tents.  Camping in Luxury with an experience of peace and tranquillity.  Appreciate waking up to the rapids in the morning, walk out of your tent and you face the beauty and sounds of the Sabie river. 

Bring your tubes, canoes or kayaks and brave the grade 3 kayaking rapids at Africamps. Mellow out in the rock pools or hike along the river trails. Kids will be kids again with no

TV…only nature. Our little piece of heaven.  There are very few unspoilt places left like this, teeming with birdlife.

We offer breakfast and braai packs to those wanting to purchase food and run an honesty shop with the essentials.

We offer spa treatments in the privacy of your unit and tours and safaris – collection and drop off is at the unit.
