Directions: From Mbombela, take the R40 to White River and turn left at the first traffic light on the R537 Sabie Road. Chase waterfalls from Sabie through the Blyde River Canyon.
Lone Creek Falls: a short 200m walk from the parking area will take you to the foot of a 68m waterfall.
Mac Mac Falls: Regarded as the most stunning of the lot, Mac Mac has twin falls that plunge some 70m into a gorge below.
Mac Mac Pools: A popular picnic area in a shallow rocky river which drops into a series of natural formed swimming pools.
Berlin Falls: The shape of the falls is likened to a giant candle as it flows down for 80m into a deep dark green hole surrounded by red cliffs.
Lisbon Falls: At an impressive 98m, this is the highest waterfall in Mpumalanga.
Bridal Veil Falls: The waterfall resembles a bridal veil and roars down from a spectacular height of 70m. There is a challenging 750m walk through a luscious indigenous forest before on can see the waterfall. Nominal fees are levied at most sites.
