Da Gama Dam: Easily accessible from the R40 road from White River to Hazyview, Da Gama Dam can be described as a bass fishing paradise. Fishing permits can be purchased at most angling stores in the Lowveld.
Horseshoe Trout and About, Sabie: Trout fishing using any tackle and bait is permitted and paid for by weight. Tackle and bait are available on the premises. Drive through Sabie towards Graskop. Take the Lone Creek Falls Road by turning left at the last street (Lydenburg Rd.) and follow the tar road for 6.8 km before turning left on the gravel road towards Horseshoe Falls.

Dullstroom: A fly fishing, bass and trout mecca, the town has countless dams to challenge any fisherman.
Sabie River: The Sabie Trout Club is home to on of the best flyfishing spots in the Kruger Lowveld. Permits available at Uvivi Fishing in Sabie.
